BE READY FOR THE JOB!!

PROVERBS 21:31

31The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

21: 31   This proverb has to do with those preparing for battle. All our preparation for any task is ultimately useless without God. But even with God’s help we still must do our part and prepare. His control of the outcome does not offset our responsibilities. God may want you to produce a great book, but you must learn to write. God may want to use you in foreign missions, but you must learn the language. God will accomplish his purposes, and he will be able to use you if you have done your part by being well prepared.

Tyndale. NIV Life Application Study Bible.

Once again another scripture that seems to speak directly to me. I try everyday to prepare myself for whatever circumstance or action needed in my daily life of being a witness for CHRIST. Yet sometimes I feel as I am not doing enough to be prepared. And here lately I seem to be able to make all kinds of excuses to seem to appease my feelings of not being prepared, which is nothing but satan doing his job and making me not prepare my job of doing my daily devotions. So I have to ask forgiveness from those who read them daily, but mainly from God as I am being his faithful servant and warrior in the battle of todays good vs evil. So today I am doing my best to be prepared to fight the evil that comes at us all everyday!

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we keep ourselves prepared for the battles of good and evil!
