DISCIPLINE OUR CHILDREN!!

PROVERBS 22:15

15Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.

22: 15   Young children often do foolish and dangerous things simply because they don’t understand the consequences. Wisdom and common sense are not transferred by just being a good example. The wisdom a child learns must be taught consciously. Discipline and training take a variety of forms. Just as God trains and corrects us to make us better, parents must discipline their children to help them learn boundaries and how to tell good from bad.

Todays society has almost made it a crime to disipline our children! Yet the Bible tells us we have to discipline them in order for them to have the knowledge of right and wrong, good and evil! Yet again todays society doesn't want us to discipline our children. I know when i grew up if I did wrong I was punished and not to my liking either. But as I look back I now see and know why I was disciplined. I actually wasn't disciplined enough!

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we DO discipline our children and do so in a firm parental and Scriptural manor!
