DON'T LET YOUR PRIDE DESTROY YOU

PROVERBs 16:18

18Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

16: 18   Proud people take little account of their weaknesses and do not anticipate stumbling blocks. They think they are better and smarter than other people. When in this state of mind, they are easily tripped up. Ironically, proud people seldom realize that pride is their problem, although others around them know it well. Although hard to do, ask someone you trust whether pride has blinded you to warning signs. If you don’t think you need to do this, pride may already be controlling you more than you think. So humble yourself and ask someone. This person may help you avoid a fall.

I can attest to this! I was one of the most prideful persons alive before JESUS humbled me. I was a GOOD mechanic at a younger time in my life. I was so good the people called me the wizard, they said i could just walk up to the car and say POOF be fixed and it was. I was so prideful that i even had a EMAIL named WIZARDEAN@GMAIL.COM!! So JESUS humbled me! And today I continually keep my pride put aside because I KNOW, PRIDE, can and will DESTROY YOU!!

SO ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure you keep your pride in check.
