DON'T SEEK REVENGE

PROVERBS 24:28

28Do not testify against your neighbor without cause, would you use your lips to mislead?

24: 28-29   This kind of thinking runs counter to the Golden Rule (see Luke 6: 31) WHICH IS DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO TO YOU. Revenge may be the way the world operates, but God doesn’t approve of it. Payback and getting even start cycles of anger and retaliation that can last for generations. Followers of Christ should seek to break those cycles (Matthew 5: 38-48).
