IN EVERY SITUATION

PHILIPIANS 4:6-7

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Well these are the first devotionals I am writing on my next step on my journey to get back home. I am at the halfway house in Memphis while I write this. I hope that I am home by the time you read this. But this verse seamed the most fitting to start with. Sometimes we can find ourselves in stressful situations, we can become overwhelmed in the moment. Or the series of moments. When the stress gets to us, we might forget where the first place to turn is. JESUS! This has been a stressful transition for me and I had to remind myself where I needed to turn. But when I did, I started praying continuously over what was happening. And when I tell you God moved in ways that I never thought possible. when dealing with these people, I have to give him all the praise and glory for giving me peace that I couldn’t understand. Just as his promise tell us. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and he can give you that peace “in every situation”.
