JESUS IS THE GATE AND WE ARE HIS SHEEP

John 10:7-9

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

10:7 In the sheep pen, the shepherd, functioned as a gate, letting the sheep in and protecting them. Jesus is the gate to God’s salvation for us. He offers access to safety and security. Christ is our protector. Some people resent that Jesus is the gate, the only way of access to God. But Jesus is God’s Son—why should we seek any other way or want to customize a different approach to God? 14:6 Jesus says he is the only way to God the Father. Some people may argue that this way is too narrow. In reality, it is wide enough for the whole world, if the world chooses to accept it. Instead of worrying about how limited it sounds to have only one way, we should be saying, “Thank you, God, for providing a sure way to get to you!” Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and like sheep that need to follow there is only one way to a life of peace, love, joy and most of all salvation, and that is thru Jesus Christ
