LIVING LIKE CHRIST

Philippians 2:1-2

2:1: Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2: then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

The first chapter of Philippians dealt with the Philosophy of Christ. This chapter deals with patterns for Christian living. We can’t imitate Christ; we have to allow Christ to live in us and thru us. It took me coming to prison to stop or get stopped should I say! That’s when I said to the LORD; I’m thru, I am yours to use for your glory, not mine. I couldn’t do it myself with Jesus in the back seat. We all should do the same thing. Be like-minded, have Jesus take control and live by His standards and His will. I think that is one reason so many church and people have problems today; we want things our way. And when we do that we see fifteen different ways and arguments occur. Feelings get hurt, and division comes. Satan is very good at what he does.
