SEEK GUIDANCE FROM THE WISE!!

PROVERBS 24:6

6Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.

24: 6   In any major life decision, whether concerning college, marriage, work, or children, it is not a sign of weakness to ask for advice. In fact, we would be foolish not to ask for it. Find good advisers before making any big decision. They can help you expand your alternatives and evaluate your choices.

Do we listen to or ask advice from others, especially those older than us? I know so many kids today that think we as elders are just not hip to the new ways of the world. Well I have news for them, when we were growing up we thought the same thing only to find out that our ways of thinking were not nearly as correct or worked out as we thought! And those older advisors knew exactly what we were going to go through by not listening to them! BUT, they let us make mistakes so that we learned the HARD way. AND, We found out that the times we did listen to and take advice from, Things usually worked out better for all concerned!!

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we learn to listen to and take advice from those that have already lived through the trials that we will have to face in the world today.
