SHE GAVE ALL SHE HAD

TONITE MY POST IS ONE OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE MY PRAYERS ARE IT TOUCHES YOU AND LETS US SEE GOD'S HAND IN ALL WE DO!!

GIVING ALL SHE HAD!!!

MATTHEW 12:41-44

41Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.43Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

First i want to say that my post of my phone always being on and my door always open that i posted this am was a God thing. I copied it from a very dear friend and wasnt really understanding why but i know she would always listen to anything i needed to say. So i felt the need to be there for others openly also. I am always here for anyone and any discussion.

So I want to tell the story of My woman that gave her 2 copper coins and my reaction at the time as a 16 year old spoiled, arrogant, self centered, "RICH" kid that offended someone when their mother gave her 2 copper coins. And until this day i never realized and really dont even remember it, but how it affected this person for 44 years .We were a young church in Holly Grove and offering time came around and i saw a woman put her 2 copper coins in the offering plate. And as a uncaring young man , i made the statement making fun of the woman ONLY giving her 2 copper coins, Yet she gave all she had. What i didnt realize was that her daughter heard my hateful "RICH KID" statement and hurt her as bad as cutting her with a knife. And holding on to this, she actually had forgiven me due to her love for CHRIST, but felt it was needed to tell me the story . NOT wanting a apology but clearing her conscience of i am sure a anger she carried for far to long, that should have not ever happened to begin with due to some hateful words of another human being against her GREAT mother who gave all she had. And in hope that this would be used to help someone else in their life as a daily reminder that we should always be kind and loving as JESUS CHRIST. Which brings the scripture to my mind because she did as JESUS and forgave me.

Luke 23:34

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

I am guilty of many things i dont remember or that i may have not ever even thought about at the time and today i am as heartfelt as i know how asking forgiveness from anyone i may have wronged in my life, and even to the extent that if i did and you need to unload your heart, i will always be open to discuss and ask forgiveness for my early life of sin before my LORD AND SAVIOUR came into my life. I want to thank this person for being a true CHRISTIAN and bringing her heart to me and i want to hope and pray that it did her as much good as it did me. because i can say that ON HER WAY HOME SHE IS WALKING WITH JESUS

!!! and i pray that we all can be more like the woman that gave her 2 copper coins and less like the young man that made fun of her!!!!!!
